| Abstract: | This research investigates the essential strategies that public sector buyers can implement to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to supply goods and services. The involvement of SMEs in public procurement is crucial for stimulating contributors to overall economic growth. Despite their critical role, SMEs face numerous challenges, stopping their participation. This study aims to identify strategies that can make public procurement more accessible and appealing to SMEs. Exploring the perspectives of SMEs currently engaged in and those refraining from public sector procurement. The research makes use of qualitative methods, including interviews and literature reviews, to gather insight into the experiences and barriers faced by these enterprises. |
