Abstract: | While decision-making can be difficult, digital twins offer an effective solution by bridging the gap between reality and digital modelling through virtual duplication of the real world. Despite their potential, digital twins are still relatively new in business logistics, leading to uncertainty in supply chain management. This paper focuses on the use of digital twins in supply chain management, seeking to offer information about their functionality and applications. Through a systematic literature review, this study goes more in-depth into the function of digital twins in improving decision-making processes, efficiency, and sustainability in supply chain operations. |
