Abstract:A new signaling framework is developed by the NSIS (Next Steps In Signaling) working group within IETF. One of the purposes of this framework is to support quality of service provisioning. A particular signaling protocol to deliver quality of service to end users is the RMD-QOSM protocol of the NSIS framework.The main goal of this research is to evaluate the performance behavior of the RMD-QOSM protocol in a realistically simulated network.
