Abstract: | Heembouw is developing the "Bouwproces volgens Heembouw" (Building process according to Heembouw). This is a more customer focused and efficient building process inspired on the lean philosophy. This philosophy contents: Defining the customer value, creating the value stream by flow and deleting waste, producing by pull and continues improvement. To analyze the value stream and to minimalize the waste in the building process Heembouw started using the pull planning method. This method had already proven it's value for the organization. Because this is a new production process the knowledge and experiences need to be shared in the organization. The Heembouw management is not satisfied with the level of knowledge sharing and learning at this moment in the organization. The objective of this research is to give recommendations and an implementation plan how knowledge sharing and learning within the organization can be improved. |
