| Abstract: | From studies in Africa and Latin-America it has become clear that cultural variables are not related to safe sex behavior. Factors such as gender roles, believing in myths and stigmatization of certain groups can lead to unsafe sexual behavior. These variables have not been studied before in the Netherlands. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between cultural variables, such as gender roles, myths and stigmatization, social cognitions and unsafe sex behavior under both autochthonal and foreign adolescents |
