Abstract:SLO is a national expertise centre for the development of curricula. The management team ICT-Delta wants to implement the interactive whiteboard further at their schools. The schools want to use the boards in a way that the didactic value is applied. To help teachers with the didactic use of interactive whiteboards SLO and ICT-Delta will develop a guidebook, which can be used as a guide for developing lessons with the interactive whiteboard. An implementation process is started at the Europaschool to give recommendations about the content of the guidebook. The implementation counts for two kindergarten teachers of the school, because nowadays the interactive whiteboard is mainly used in the higher classes of the elementary school. The implementation process is based on the framework of Beauchamp (2004). This framework describes the phases that teachers follow by the implementation of the interactive whiteboard. The process started with a workshop, based on the main actions for making a lesson with the interactive white board. Next three examples of lessons where given. These lessons had a construction like described in the framework of Beauchamp (2004). By given the lessons, the teachers experienced the didactic use of the interactive whiteboard. They used this experience for making their own lessons. Based on observations of the self-made lessons it is determined that the teachers are now in a higher phase according to the framework of Beauchamp (2004). The schools of ICT Delta followed a similar implementation process. There is an ambassador in each school of ICT Delta to guide the other teachers in the use of the interactive whiteboard. With this they also used a workshop and examples of lessons. The accompaniment of the teachers is individual, because every teacher develops in his own speed. Based on the results of both implementation processes some recommendations for the guidebook have been made. These recommendations are aimed on the file management, the technical skills, the use of variable programs and the classroom management and pedagogy with the use of an interactive whiteboard
