Abstract:A lot of changes are taking place in pharmacy. Important changes are for example the increasing competition and the shift from medicine supplier to a care provider with an increasing accent on the distribution of information and services. These changes have an effect on pharmacies and their market. To adapt to these changes there is the need to explore the market and the effect of the changes. With this knowledge it is possible to anticipate and react on these changes. The Centrum Apotheek Enschede wants to know what the changes in the market are exactly and what te possibilities and threats are. To research this, the following research question was formulated: What are the possibilites for the Centrum Apotheek Enschede to respond to the changes in the environment, taking into account its speical position and the wishes of the customers?
