Abstract:This is my thesis for the Master 'Applied Mathematics' at University of Twente, carried out at National Aerospace Laboratory NLR. The aim of my thesis is to investigate the influence of a target motion model on the exact Bayesian filter equations. Particle filtering will be used as tool to get more insight in the Bayesian filter recursion
