Abstract:Modeling is a good way to support discovery learning of complex subjects. In this study participants are asked to draw a model about a complex subject. These drawings are compared to a written test they made afterwards about the same subject. The drawings and the test are scored and the results correlated. As it turns out, the drawing scores and the test scores correlate significantly
