Abstract:Young people may have several problems around sexuality. Therefore, the GGD starts with a project called Sense, for young people up to 24 years who have questions about sexuality and need help. Sense consists of a national website and each region has his own consulting hour. It is noted that young people do not know Sense. This qualitative research focused on the attitude of Islamic youth and young people with low social economic status with respect to the consulting hours of Sense and the materials used for promotion of Sense in Twente. There is need for understanding the target groups regarding sexuality. Interviewing pairs is used to collect the data. In total 10 interviews with 18 boys and girls in the ages of 14 to 18 are held. The results show that young people do not know Sense but do recognize the materials used for promotion. All participant are positive when the concept of Sense is explained. Anonymity is very important for all participants, they do not want that there parents know about their sexual problems. The majority of the participants indicated that it is important that Sense is costless. In the results was found that the respondents think that a counseling hour is only for complex problems. Furthermore, the poster and flyer do not contain the correct information, so the respondents do not understand the poster and flyer. They expect more concrete information. It is important to emphasize that a counseling hour is anonymous and without any costs. The age for witch Sense is intended has to be on the poster as well. According to the respondent, social media is a good way to promote Sense but also education in schools and poster in public transport were mentioned. The use of social media is recommended although attention should be payed at anonymity. A movie about Sense can also be placed on the Sense-website or on social networks to remove any negative feelings about Sense. Furthermore it is possible to focus on online healthcare for example chat-consults. This will make the healthcare accessible, anonymous en easy to reach for young people.
