| Abstract: | Residential robberies are increasingly seen as a social problem. Their impact on society is high. By identifying potential targets, a focused and efficient approach can be developed to reduce this form of criminality. For this purpose residential robberies in police district Gelderland-Midden from are analyzed. This report shows the results of the collected and analyzed characteristics of victims, residences and locations of residential robberies. It is also examined if there are incidents which precede the residential robberies. The research question is whether residential robberies can be explained, and perhaps prevented, with these the results. |
