Abstract: | TNO has launched phase 1 of the project “CCTV en Autism” in 2012 with the aim to research work possibilities for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in order work in a CCTV-station. After successful completion of phase 1, a second phase aims to generate possibilities to support people with ASD with working in a CCTV station. This is also the starting-point for this Bachelor-assignment. With the results of a product-function analysis and some background knowledge of CCTV stations as a foundation, the broad target for the supportingconcept can be defined: The concept will be a digital support that helps primary people with ASD, but also non-autistic surveillants during monitoring with interpreting a situation an d with the decision whether a situation holds such a risk that interventions are necessary. There are no design solutions for this problem, yet. Brainstorming helps to find possible solutions, which are then integrated into three design concepts. With feedback from the target group and by the means of defined design criteria, the final concept can be evaluated and some recommendations for a continued design process can be made. |
