Abstract: | If sounds with a wide range of frequency needs to be produced the design dilemma of a large sur- face vibrating with low frequencies needs to be tackled. A device that translates sound generated by the vibration of a small driving unit, but radiated from a large surface would be usefully. The products are Horn loudspeakers. This Internship report contains describes the process of designing of a mid bass horn for theater and festivals. To achieve this a theory report and prototype have been constructed on which the final product is based in the form of construction drawings. Theory about acoustics and design methodology played a major role in this assessment. |
