Abstract: | Mexico’s competitiveness is facing presently a challenging moment. It is crucial for Mexico to transform from a manufacturing-based country into a knowledge-based economy in order to compete with other emerging economies in the future. This explains the existence of Technology Parks in Mexico. The institution for which we carried out this research project counts 16 Technology Parks at present and plans for opening new ones are already in development. We started this research under the assumption that in Mexico there was a lack of experiences on the implementation of international standards and best practices of Technology Parks. We developed a performance matrix that allows directors to rank the Technology Park performance according to the international standards. |
