Abstract: | Methicillin- resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is the most common healthcare-associated infection (HAI) in Germany. MRSA-net ist a website that is deveolped to inform heathcare personnel and the public about the germ itself and prevention- and therapy-measures concerning MRSA. This study investigated the usability of the website for nurses working in German hospitals and identified aspects for improvement by conducting interviews and scenario-based think-aloud tests with nurses working in German hospitals. It could be identified, that the structure of the website forms a problem in finding relevant information. The function of the website as an additional source of information could be identified as desired, if the website-structure would be improved. |
