Abstract: | It has been suggested that many countries prefer to simply award contracts to the bidder with the lowest price in order to avoid corruptive activities. However, proposals providing enhanced characteristics at a slightly higher price are disregarded, leading to potentially lower quality and the neglect of best value for money. Therefore, other methods need to be taken into considertion to promote a development towards a more economically advantageous perspective. Consequently, this bachelor thesis is concerned with comparing and analyzing the awarding methods LP, WFS and AoV with regards to their applicability across countries. |
