Abstract:
The gap between business expectations and actual information technology (IT) delivery is not uncommon. There is an increasingly perceived vision that cloud computing will be able to solve this gap by addressing business demands with faster, easier, and more flexible IT services. However, to achieve these high expectations, firms usually face significant obstacles while creating a holistic cloud strategy. This situation gives the motivation for this research to define a framework that will help the successful implementation of cloud solutions. This thesis aims to propose a framework for cloud adoption which is reusable and addresses the full cycle, starting from the initiation planning until the project delivery from both the enterprise architecture and business point of view.
