Abstract:Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a mid-size teaching hospital. Because of the existing financial climate across the province of Ontario and changes in funding models introduced by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, it is essential for MSH to critically examine the effectiveness and efficiency of all cardialogy services provided to its patients. The processes in the ambulatory cardiology program were perceive as not effective and not efficient. This research reviews the services of the ambulatory cardiology program.
