Abstract: | In this master thesis a neural mass model for the human cortex is investigated. We distinguish the essential different types of activity and determine the corresponding regions in parameter space using bifurcation analysis. In this way we locate, in parameter space, regions with normal cortical behaviour, and regions with epileptic behaviour. |
