Abstract: | The company struggles with imbalance of stations at their final assembly lines. The current sequence method based on mix rules is not performing well. This brings us to the goal of this research: “Create a tool that is easy to use and supports the planner to cope with the imbalance of the assembly line.” We create a method to improve the assembly sequence and reduce the imbalance of the final assembly. This approach uses simulated annealing to create a new sequence. |
