For this purpose the high amount of product failures was determined to be the core problem. This problem was analyzed by investigating the causes and the quantity of the problem. Thereafter the manufacturing lead time was computed to show the effect of the product failure rate on the manufacturing lead time. In this connection the author gave advices how to reduce to the product failure rate, in order to reduce the manufacturing lead time. In the end, some recommendations were added, which do not concern the core problem, but could improve the general situation.
