Abstract: | When someone says he is going to print something it does not mean exactly the same as what it meant tweny years ago. Nowadays it is possible to print in different manners. 3D printing is a concept which is known to a wider audience. Now it is possible to print with food. This bachelor assignment focuses on 3D Foodprinting and its aim is to develop a dessert with three components which can be printed using a 3D Foodprinter. This assignment is done on behalf of the European Packaging Gallery (EPG) in Enschede, the Netherlands. The EPG is engaged in foodprocessing and the 3D Foodprinting research contributes to that. The purpose of this assignment is to investigate the possibilities of 3D Foodprinting. Printing a dessert is a way to show if 3D Foodprinting could be attractive. The nutrients are examined to show which are suitable for 3D Foodprinting and how these nutrients can lend themselves even better for the actual printing. |
