Abstract:The first part of this report is about the design of a user guide for a Tilly Light bike carrier. Two electric bikes can be transported with the Tilly Light. The last part of the report is about a redesign of Tilly Light, the Tilly Tricycle. Tilly Tricycle can transport a tricycle bike. Both bike carriers does work in the same way. The bike carrier on ground level. After placing the bike(s) on the bike carrier the carrier can be moved to transport level with an electric elevator. Before designing the user guide, three excising user guides are analyzed. The analyze is done by using the ten Heuristics of Nielsen. The descriptions of every heuristic is been changed to a description for a user guide by using the information out of the analysis. The user guide for Tilly Light is based on this heuristics. The different actions are described in simple text with supporting pictures. It has a chronological structure. The Tilly Tricycle has to be a redesign of Tilly Light allowing a tricycle to be transported on it. Preferably together with a bicycle. The tricycle has to fit on top of the bike carrier. The law described limits on loading a car. A tricycle and a bicycle together will extend too far. The weight of these bikes together is close to the maximum permitted weight of the most common tow bar. The concept of Tilly Tricycle is a bike carrier that can transport only a tricycle.
