Abstract: | This study aims to give more insight into patient needs of Diabetes 1 patients. A review of qualitative methods for customer involvement has resulted in the development of a customized measure to use for patient interviews with high levels of information sensitivity. A combination of a free eliciting technique and a value-in-use approach enables the researcher to review two points evaluation (pre-purchase and during usage), which resulted in meaningful contributions to the understanding of patient needs and product requirements for the development of the artificial pancreas. |
