Abstract: | In this research the performance measurement symstem of Benchmark Electronics is reviewed. We pay specific attention to the delivery parameters within the purchasing department. Within the Benchmark reporting structure, BAM, a lot of problems were encountered. The data wasn't well organized and measurements were inconsistent. As a solution some new KPI reports were built regarding deliveries. Some of them were not built and need further research to generate improvement opportunities. The data is now consistent, and no manual conversion is needed to gain the most recent information. Recommendations towards future developments of the performance measurement system were made, as well as recommendations for further research directions in completing the performance measurement system. |
