Abstract: | Enterprise Architecture (EA) challenges such as the ivory tower syndrome, keeping up with the changing environment or delivering results on time are commonly experienced. EA development adheres to waterfall principles originating from software development. Software development has adapted agile principles. A conceptual model is developed showing the relationship between agile principles applied to EA development and the EA challenges perceived in an organization. The model is validated with the use of a quantitative study and expert review. This research shows that EA development can benefit from agile principles. |
