Analysing the effect of design decisions on the logistic performance of waste disposal stations

Graanoogst, S. C. (2015)

Waste disposal stations are becoming more popular in the USA and Canada. To preserve the quality of these sites, with regards to sojourn times and waiting times of visitors, designs should be analysed before construction. This thesis researches the effect that design decisions of waste disposal stations have on the performance of the waste disposal station once it is in operation. Through simulation these effects are analysed. Therefore, simulation provides a means of improving waste disposal station designs to assure a good performance of waste disposal stations.
