| Abstract: | It’s important for crisis managers that have to coordinate to have shared situation awareness during a crisis. Situation awareness within teams is dependent on communication and information. A model is composed from different factors who influence situation awareness. Interviews were conducted with crisis managers from different Dutch teams to examine which factors are missing and which factors are important. The goal of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee for this thesis are recommendations for training to raise situation awareness on the team level. The last part of this thesis consist of the formulation of training recommendations on the basis of learning objectives and the communication- and information factors. |
