Abstract:The main objective of this paper is to test the performance of the Arbitrary Eulerian-Lagrangian method implemented into a Discontinuous Galerkin-FEM solver. H- and p-convergence test are performed to assess if the implementation full fills the expected convergence rate. The validation cases performed are the stationary inviscid vortex in a moving domain and Stokes 2nd problem. As an extra case the oscillation of a cylinder in an uniform flow is examined. No exact solution exists of this problem thus a convergence test is not performed.
