| Abstract: | This thesis consists of evaluation research and looks into the twin town relations of the city of Lingen, Germany, and focusses especially on the relationship with the city of Elbeuf, France. One of the main goals of this relationship is to contribute to increase the European Identity of the participants. With mixed research, including a quasi-experimental design, analyzed is how successful the relationship and exchange is and if there was a change in European Identity after participation in the French-German exchange. |
