Abstract: | My internship as part of the Master Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente was carried out at the quality management department of the electrical drivetrain and special engines at the BMW Group AG in München, Germany. The majority of tasks during my internship focused on the quality management system (QMS) in relation to the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard. Continual improvement of the QMS is an important requirement from the ISO standard. Most assignments focus on improving the QMS. To support the information communication of the QMS and information of the departments, three intranet pages were constructed. By using these intranet sites, it is possible to provide a central information platform for QMS related information. Besides these assignments many other smaller assignments were carries out and strengthened my knowledge on the company and the field of work. |
