| Abstract: | Strategy has become the main concern of the key people in organizations because it dictates the direction of the organization and therefore determines its success. The goal of this research is to develop a reasoning tree consisting of a combination of strategy models, which can help organizations define the most suitable strategy based on the internal and external factors that influence their business. To visualize the reasoning tree of an organization’s strategic planning process, we develop a spreadsheet-based tool called Strategy Blueprint.. The research methodology we deployed in this study is design science. Our first evaluation of the Strategy Blueprint tool in real-life settings indicates that the tool is useful, easy to use, and generates positive inclination amongst participants towards using the technology. However, some improvement for the tool are still needed to provide a better result in the future. |
