Abstract:
Research in the private sector has shown that, Human Resource Management practices, such as increased decentralisation, discovery and utilisation of knowledge, teamwork, have the potential to positively influence the innovation performance of a business. The purpose of this research is to identify the status quo of HRM-related innovations in Dutch general hospitals and to broaden the knowledge about the contextual elements influencing the process of innovation in HRM by determining best practices, success and risk factors.
