Abstract: | The main goal of this report was to provide Company X an answer to the question: “How should we manage our growth plans?” Our leading research question is: "What is a better value chain set-up for the Product Y product family in order to cope with more fluctuations, variations and future growth plans?" We looked at literature about value proposition and capacity planning, conducted analyses on the projected sales growth within a changing market, and mapped the order process in order to calculate the future required capacity per department. Besides, recommendations on the organizational structure were given to give Company X answers on our research question. Due to confidentiality, this entire report is anonymous.
