Abstract: | Collaboration among companies is necessary to be ahead of the competition, as well as to survive in the current dynamic and turbulent business market. However, the emerging of advanced technology brings more complexity in managing the collaboration amongst the business players. Thus, to manage the complexity and to deal with the dynamic environment, companies should consider the possibility of collaborating with other organizations within a digital business ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to provide an approach for modeling and analyzing digital business ecosystems. This approach is considered as a guideline for the company to improve their business, as well as helping them in achieving the enterprise goal. The digital business ecosystem modeling in this research refers to the ArchiMate standards, while the analysis refers to several quantitative methods, such as analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method, and linear programming method. The evaluation result shows that the proposed approach is easy to use and it is expected to help the practitioners in a company to assist them in completing their job. However, additional analyses can be added in order to provide more comprehensive approach to aid the companies in the decision-making process. |
