Abstract:Stress is an increasing problem at the present time. Especially students are affected by the impacts of stress. Students have a lack of appropriate strategies to cope with stress. Moreover, they don’t use available conventional assistance due to a lack of time and stigmatization. E-health appears to offer an alternative for conventional help that becomes more and more popular. To find out what the best way would be to offer e-health there were conducted quantitative and qualitative analyses. The examinations were focused on five different e-health methods. By means of an interview insight into the expectations from students was gained. Moreover it was examined whether students have preferences with regard to the five e-health methods. In addition, the investigation includes the influence of the stress level on the selected preferences. Results showed no significant preference regarding to e-health methods. There were also no significant findings with regard to the influence of stress on the preferences. However, trends where found in the qualitative part as well as in the quantitative part. These trends indicate a preference to ‘Exercise program’ and a preference of ‘Community forum’ in the high level of stress group. Further, it was found that preferences are depending on the students’ expectance of efficiency and effectiveness of the method.
