Abstract: | An application is built for the shipbuilding industry that used Augmented Reality to provide the workers at the dock and engineers with a means to ease the communication process. Research is done to provide background literature on 3D positioning in ships under construction. The ideation process is described along with ideation for future projects. Requirements are set up, and an application is built using the Google Tango platform and tested for these requirements. Also the application is tested in a use-case scenario. |
