Abstract: | In the fast moving consumer goods warehousing sector companies are constantly in search to improve their processes. This improvement is both in efficiency as well as in the labor conditions for their staff. In the recent years companies got access to much more data about their processes. Now companies are looking for ways to transform this data in to information on which the can base decisions about their process. To help the staff in the warehouses it is important to have access to this data quickly and conveniently. This study focuses on the use of mobile devices in the fast moving consumer goods warehouses to support employees with data to obtain a more efficient process with improved working conditions. |
