Procesevaluatie positief educatief programma in het speciaal onderwijs
grote Punt, Inge Rosalie (2017)
This study reports on the implementation process of the Positief Educatief Programma (Positive Education Program PEP). PEP is a whole school approach with the aim to create a more positive school environment, with a focus on well-being and engagement. Several team members were interviewed to visualize how they experienced the implementation process. The questions were based on the implementation model of Nielsen and Randall (2013), which takes the quality of implementation, the contextual factors and the mental models into account. The results show that the implementation process of PEP was considered positive. Due to PEP, the team focused more on well-being and engagement of the children. An important factor during the implementation process was the contact between colleagues, which supported the vividness of PEP. In the future, there is a need for preserving and support, so PEP can be continued. Keywords: implementation process, PEP, well-being, engagement, special education, implementation model
