Abstract: | The GGD Twente has implemented a tailored advice intervention to stimulate patient-empowerment and increase the participation in the health monitor. This study evaluate the implementation of this intervention. The study had an explorative character. A mix method design was used, which means qualitative and quantitative research were combined. By interviewing 12 respondents of the health monitor 2016 the opinions of the respondents were collected. It can be concluded that the tailored advice application seems to be a valuable intervention for the target audience. The tailored advice intervention is used by a large amount of participants and they do like the intervention. To make it more effective, the GGD Twente should focus more on the different phases of change where participants are in and the needs belonging to this phases. For this, more questions should be asked when participants select a feedback topic. Future research should examine the technological feasibility of this the re-implementation. |
