Abstract: | In this study I have researched the effect of investor on the successfulness of the crowdfunding campaign. The research is focused on the 93 projects of Oneplanetcrowd that deal with debt-based or equity-based crowdfunding. The projects on Oneplanetcrowd all deal to some extent with sustainability or societal improvement. Based on these results I have found evidence that providing onplatform updates helps increasing the success of a crowdfunding campaign. In this study I have found no evidence that supports the claim that social media updates is positively correlated to the success of the campaign. |
