Abstract:Global Electronics B.V. located in Haaksbergen is a company that produces PCB´s for high-tech applications. The company was founded 25 years ago and they could always fulfill the demand of their customers. In the last few years the demand of the customers grew significantly more than previous years. This resulted in a challenge for Global Electronics B.V. regarding the supply chain. So, to fulfill their demand now, and in the future the supply chain needed to be optimized. In this thesis I will describe how I approached this challenge by creating a new scheduling system. During the creation of the scheduling system, parts of it were already implemented. As a result, the delivery reliability of the company increased and the amount of WIP decreased.
