Brexit and the UK’s future participation in the EU’s foreign and security policy
Haringsma, R.J.A. (2018)
With the United Kingdom's choice of leaving the European Union, both parties need to re-formulate their future cooperation on foreign policy. The EU has an history with third countries through various types of agreements. Would one of the existing agreements fit the EU-UK the best or is a specialized agreement, one that goes much further than any other current third country cooperation, the best outcome for both parties?
This thesis lists the potential agreements that the EU-UK could form on foreign policy after Brexit, and also analyses which one would fit both parties best and has the most possible outcome.
