| Abstract: | The MRP in Navision 2016, the ERP-package Nedap Retail uses, was adjusted several times to let it generate planning suggestions on the right moments. These changes were documented poorly and did not always generate the expected outcomes. In the thesis the working of the MRP is firstly investigated by testing several situations in the test-environment in Navision. The complete working of the MRP is explained pointwise. For the points were Navision did not generate the right output, solutions were generated and worked out. These changes are tested in an Excel simulation to make sure the solutions would not generate other problems. The simulation shows a significant reduction of the number of planning suggestions and make the MRP easier to understand. |
