Abstract: | This research looked for connections and relationships between corporate values and scandals in the fashion industry. The research question was as follows: ‘Is there a link between corporate values and scandals in the fashion industry?’ Therefore we analysed the corporate values and scandals of the 25 largest fashion companies. This has been researched because many companies in the fashion industry say that they behave in a sustainable, transparent and responsible manner. This is also reflected in their corporate values, but their actual behaviour is not always consistent with this. In practice, there is a gap between the aspirations and actual values and ensuing behaviors of and within a firm. |
