| Abstract: | In this report, a research that is done in a period of four months for Aeronamic BV. in Almelo is explained. The research was the final assignment of the bachelor programme Industrial Engineering and Management of the University of Twente. Aeronamic Produces parts and sub-systems for the Aerospace industry. Quality is very important in this industry. Every production step needs to be prepared by certified engineers and records of every production step need to be saved for possible audits. A lot of information needs to be processed in this production process. for this research we decided to focus on improving the management of the work instruction documents that are created by the Lead Enigeneers and used by the operators. In this report we analysed the creation, review and release process for these documents and provide Aeronamic with a possible solution to digitalize and improve the managment process of these documents. Accordingly we generated a possible solution to improve the distribution of the documents on the shop floor and how they are presented to the operators. |
