Abstract: | As research has convincingly shown, online interventions are a cost-effective alternative to face-to-face therapy. However, non-adherence has long been a problem and many patients still prefer face-to-face sessions. To overcome these issues, blended care, which combines face-to-face sessions with an online intervention was created. So far, little is known about the experiences of important stakeholders with blended care. The present study explored how patients in primary care experience the online part of an integrated blended intervention with a face-to-face focus. Six participants following a blended treatment completed a semi-structured interview with open questions and verbally indicated their likes and dislikes of the intervention when being shown an empty module of their online intervention. Additionally, a short questionnaire containing multiple-choice questions was taken. |
