Abstract:The aim of this study is to validate existing prediction models for breast cancer for the Dutch breast cancer population using available data from the Netherlands cancer registry. Study design This study is done by analysing retrospective data from the “Nederlandse Kankerregistratie” (Netherlands cancer registry, NCR). To validate the prediction models, the validation module of Evidencio was used. The validation module of Evidencio assesses the validations on discrimination and calibration. Discrimination is visualized using a ROC-curve and it is quantified using the C-index. Calibration is visualized using a calibration plot and a histogram and it is quantified with the calibration slope and intercept.
