Abstract: | Sigmax Public Transport (SPT) is a relative new business unit within Sigmax. SPT is still in its initial phase and therefore does not have structure and formalization within their product portfolio and related management processes, resulting in uncoordinated processes of product- and project development. In addition, a long-term focus and planning is not present. Furthermore, SPT is not able to anticipate to the fast changing environment accompanied by new innovations and technological trends. In order to effectively manage all projects within the portfolio and be able to operate in a more structured and formalized way, a planning tool is developed. This planning tool consist of three levels; a strategic, tactic and operational level, in the form of a process model. A suitable implementation of these three levels provides SPT with a tool to enhance structure within their product development processes and support in anticipating to the future. |
