Abstract: | This paper proposes to create a benchmark tool for measuring and comparing the scalability of probabilistic data tools. The benchmark includes a data generator, and can be used to measure the execution time of several queries. The validity of the benchmark will be tested by using it on the MayBMS probabilistic data tool. Firstly, some background is given on the subject of probabilistic data. Then, the state of the art will be explained through related work, and a short introduction on probabilistic data tools is given. After that, the methodology will be explained in detail, results will be displayed, and a conclusion will be drawn from those results. The research in general is discussed, and finally, potential future work on the subject of probabilistic data is proposed. |
